WHO WE ARE
Model City Trykes, the Oxford AMBUCS chapter, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization empowering children with special needs throughout Northeast Alabama. We provide Amtryke adaptive tricycles—uniquely engineered for individuals of all ages with physical or developmental challenges—to help every child ride, play, and thrive.
At Model City Trykes, we work to reduce the high cost of adaptive tricycles so families aren’t overwhelmed by another major expense. These specialized tricycles can be costly, and many families are already managing significant medical bills. To help ease this burden, we raise funds through community donors, grants, and individuals who believe in our mission. Every contribution helps make these life-changing tricycles more accessible for children who need them.
